AUS vs PAK: Watch- Mir Hamza Cleans Travis Head With A Stunning Inswinger As Australia's Top Order Fails To Deliver
Mir Hamza and Shaheen Shah Afridi ripped the Australian top-order apart in the second innings as both left-arm pacers troubled the Aussies on their home turf. Australia were all-out for 319 in the first innings and then they bundled Pakistan for 264. Australia in their second innings did not start auspiciously as they lost four quick wickets.
The two left-arm quicks have divided four wickets amongst themselves with the new Kookaburra. Shaheen Shah Afridi got Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne both caught behind and Mir Hamza got David Warner and Travis head both bowled. Australia lost their four wickets for just 16 runs and is not in a good position now.
Pakistan might have found another left-arm pacer who can trouble the batters with his swing and pace as Mir Hamza has impressed everyone with his bowling in the MCG Test. Mir Hamza got the prized wickets of David Warner and Travis Head in consecutive deliveries. His delivery to Travis Head was particularly a peach. An inswinging delivery pitched up and Head completely missed the trick as the ball crashed into the stumps.
Mir Hamza’s inswinger got Travis Head out for a golden duck and Australia looks in good trouble at the MCG with Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh currently trying to stabilize the innings. The delivery to Travis Head was a peach and he completely misjudged it trying to come forward to flick the delivery but forgot to take cover for the movement as the ball found a huge gap between his bat and pads to crash into the stumps.

Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh are currently handling the Australian innings as both batters are playing their way to increase the lead to post a defendable total. Mitchell Marsh was the Player of The Match in the first Test which was played at the Optus stadium in Perth. Marsh scored 90 and 63* in the two innings he batted in Perth and now he is saving Australia from a tough situation by playing some counter-attacking cricket.
Pakistan will be hoping to get Australia all-out before they post a good lead which could be tough for them to chase in the fourth innings. Australia is already ahead of Pakistan in the series with a 1-0 lead as they won the Perth Test by a huge 360-run margin. Pakistan will be hoping to win their first Test in Australia since 1995 when they last defeated Australia under Wasim Akram.
Australia and Pakistan will move to Sydney for the third and final Test of the series after the New Year celebrations. Pakistan will be hoping to win a Test match on Australian soil but it is going to be a tough task given Australia’s record against Pakistan is phenomenal in Tests and they will be at their destructive best to win the series again.
