Pakistan captain and dynamic young batsman Babar Azam was seen breaching the Covid-19 protocols as he met with Director-General of Pakistan Cricket Board, Adnan Irshad, on Wednesday, whom he had gone to meet to resolve some issues related to his local club.
Babar Azam underwent his first Covid-19 Test on Wednesday at the National Cricket Academy ahead of the upcoming African tour.
The Pakistani captain was supposed to avoid meeting the general public as he is supposed to enter the bio-bubble created by the PCB ahead of the upcoming tours of Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Following the culmination of the meeting, Babar Azam avoided the media and immediately went to his car. The Pakistani batsman quickly reversed his car and nearly escaped hitting another car.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Team under the leadership of Babar Azam will shortly embark on the tour of Africa. They will first travel to South Africa where they will lock horns with the Proteas in three One-day Internationals and four Twenty20 Internationals. The ODI and T20I series will be held at the SuperSport Park in Centurion and at the Wanderers in Johannesburg between April 02-16.
Following the culmination of the series, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan will travel to Zimbabwe for two Tests and three Twenty20 Internationals.
