Pakistan National Cricket Team have achieved a massive feat in the T20I cricket. The Salman Agha-led side registered their joint-fastest team 50 in men's T20Is along with their fastest-ever team 100 in the shortest format of the game.
Pakistan National Cricket Team achieved the feat in the third T20I against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The virtual series decider of the five-match series between the teams took place at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday (21st March).

It was Mohammad Haris, who took Pakistan off to a flying start with the bat. The keeper-batter took the attack to the New Zealand bowlers right from the start. His aggressive batting allowed his partner Hasan Nawaz to settle and then unleash.

Mohammad Haris and Hasan Nawaz added 75 runs for the opening partnership and it came inside the powerplay. This is the highest-ever total registered by Pakistan in the first 6 overs of the 20-over game. Also, they ended up hitting joint fastest team 50 in men's T20Is as they got past the landmark in 4 overs.

Mohammad Haris was back in the hut after scoring 41 runs off 20 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 205 and also slammed 4 fours and 3 sixes during his stay on the crease. But, what was impressive was, even after he got out, Pakistan kept the intent on.

Pakistan went on to slam 100 runs in just 8.1 overs. This marked their fastest-ever team century in T20I cricket. Also, 123 runs after 10 overs were the highest in T20Is by Pakistan. After Mohammad Haris got out, Hasan Nawaz took command of the game and displayed his class on the big stage at the international level.

Hasan Nawaz was at his best as in his third international outing, he slammed a brutal century. The batter ended with an unbeaten innings of 105 runs off 45 balls, batting with a strike rate of over 233, and also hit 10 fours and 7 sixes during his stay at the crease.
Salman Agha also hit an unbeaten 51 runs as the duo added 133 runs off just 61 balls for the second wicket. Based on their stellar innings, Pakistan chased the massive target of 205 runs with 9 wickets in hand and 4 overs to spare. The series now is 2-1 with two more games to go.
