Former Pakistan cricketer Tanveer Ahmed has thrown his support behind the struggling batter Babar Azam after his terrible outing in the ongoing two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home. Pakistan’s white-ball captain could manage only 66 runs across the four innings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Earlier, Tanveer had also slammed Babar’s critics and claimed that he is the king of Pakistan cricket and will remain. He said only those people are criticizing Babar, who are jealous of the white-ball captain and don’t love Pakistan.

He had stated, “Let the critics be jealous of him. Babar Azam is the King of Pakistan and will remain in the future. The former players who are speaking against him don’t love Pakistan. Check out what they did for the country during their active days in international cricket.”
