“Wishing good luck to our national women’s team for the T20 World Cup. Pakistan ka parcham apke haath me aur qoum ki duayen apke sath hain. Go make us proud,” Babar Azam shares this in his Instagram story.

Team India is the favorite to win over Pakistan
Team India is the favorite to win tonight’s match as the stats are with the Women in Blue. According to the head-to-head stats, the Women in Blue have a 13-3 record against the Women in Green in T20Is and lead 6-2 in Women's T20 World Cups.
This year’s Women’s T20 World Cup is the biggest tournament as there are a total of 12 teams in the title race. These 12 teams, including India and Pakistan, will play a total of 33 matches across seven venues, with the final scheduled for the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London on 5 July.
Pakistan Cricket Board hopeful for a good result
Former pacer and the nation’s women’s team mentor, Wahab Riaz, said that they have enough trust in the Fatima Sana-led team. According to Riaz, they did enough preparations for the tournament. With the energetic and skillful players in the squad, the cricket board is hopeful of fetching a good result this year.
“We have worked hard over the past few months, playing a series against Zimbabwe and facing Ireland and the West Indies. This is a young and energetic group that can rise to the occasion at the World Cup. You prepare your entire life to play in a World Cup, and it is an opportunity everyone looks forward to. Our focus is on playing a fearless and positive brand of cricket. We need to believe in our hard work, and the results will follow,” Wahab Riaz said in an official media release.
"Our group has some of the finest sides in the tournament, and this is a good opportunity for us to start on the right track, with things getting easier as the event progresses. We have a combination of youngsters and senior players, and I am confident that, given the hard work these players have put in, if they play to their potential, they will deliver a top-four finish,” he added.
