He scored a boundary off the first ball of the game against Pakistan.

Ubaid stared at him every time Suryavanshi missed a shot. However, Suryavanshi wasn’t ready to back down. In the third over, after he failed to connect an inside-out shot, he looked straight at the bowler and told him to focus on delivering the ball.

"Ball daal na, ball daal. (Bowl the ball, just bowl the ball)," Suryavanshi was heard as saying on the stump mic.

On the very next delivery, Suryavanshi timed the ball well and hit it for a boundary. After the shot, he walked over to his opening partner, Priyansh Arya. Ubaid had nothing more to say, and the young Indian batter walked away with the upper hand.
