Bangladesh are making their way back into the game after a decent start by Afghanistan in their chase in the ongoing game four of the Asia Cup 2023. They have removed well-set Ibrahim Zadran as well and the credit for that goes to Mushfiqur Rahim.

Ibrahim Zadran batted spectacularly well and brought Afghanistan back into the game after they lost Rahmanullah Gurbaz early. But he was undone by the brilliance of Mushfiqur Rahim behind the stumps as he took the blinder to send the batter packing.

Hasan Mahmud bowled a short-of-a-length delivery outside off to which Ibrahim Zadran looked to punch off his back foot and ended up getting an outside edge. The ball went flashing behind the stumps where Mushfiqur Rahim dived to his right and took the one-handed stunner to send the batter back into the hut.

Here’s the video:

Ibrahim Zadran looked in great touch and was back in the hut for 75 runs off 74 balls. He also smashed 10 fours and 1 six in his innings to keep Afghanistan in the game. The game currently hangs in balance and it’s fair to say that we will be up for a nail-biter.
