Bangladesh National Cricket Team cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has yet again made the headlines due to his antics. The all-rounder was seen misbehaving with one of the groundsmen in Bangladesh during the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL).

Shakib Al Hasan, who is currently playing for SK Jamal club in the Dhaka Premier League instead of T20Is against Zimbabwe, didn't go easy on the groundsman who tried to capture the picture with the former Bangladesh skipper.

In the video that has gone viral on the internet, a groundsman came close to Shakib Al Hasan, who was chatting with coaches. As the official took out his phone for the picture, the cricketer ran after him and gave him a hammering, scolding him for disturbing him amidst his conversation. Shakib even grabbed his neck and threatened to beat him up in front of everyone.

Here's the video:

Shakib Al Hasan has often come under the scanner for his rude behavior with the fans. Earlier this year, he was seen slapping a fan during the elections. Apart from this, he also has hogged the headlines for his rude gestures on the field as well.

Shakib Al Hasan was recently given the NOC by Bangladesh to play in the Dhaka Premier League. He missed the first two games against Zimbabwe and will be missing the third game as well. He will be joining the squad for the last two games of the series.

In the game against Prime Bank in the Dhaka Premier League, Shakib Al Hasan got out for a golden duck. However, with the ball, he looked in decent touch and returned with the figures of 2/42 in his 10 overs.

Shakib Al Hasan's return to the Bangladesh team for the last two T20Is will mark his return after injury and break. He was last seen in action during the ICC World Cup 2023. After that, he got injured and then contested in elections. The last two games against Zimbabwe will be crucial for him.

Shakib Al Hasan will be extremely crucial for Bangladesh in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The all-rounder will have to play a massive role for the team in the tournament. If his team has to fancy their chances of winning the tournament, he needs to step up and contribute with both bat and ball.

If we want to do that we have to win three matches in the first round - Shakib Al Hasan on Bangladesh's chances for T20 World Cup 2024

Shakib Al Hasan recently talked about Bangladesh's chances for the T20 World Cup 2024. He stated that they need to first focus on the matches in the first round. He also feels that playing against Zimbabwe isn't the ideal preparation for the team for the World Cup. He added:

“In the last World Cup, we performed reasonably and though we didn’t do extremely well no one will say we did bad. If that is our benchmark then we have a chance of crossing it in this World Cup and if we want to do that we have to win three matches in the first round.

“In Australia (T20 World Cup in 2022) we went after playing against New Zealand and Pakistan and so certainly we went to the World Cup on the back of very good preparation and considering that this is not ideal. But this is the best we can as far as preparation is concerned," he concluded.
