Bat gifted by Virat Kohli wasn't good - Danielle Wyatt makes surprising revelation

While speaking in a conversation with The Quint, England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt spoke about the bat that was gifted to her by Indian batsman Virat Kohli.
Kohli had gifted a bat to Wyatt when India toured England in 2014. Wyatt is also famous for proposing to Virat on social media and had tweeted, “Kholi marry me!!!.”
Revealing whether she has used the bat gifted by Virat Kohli or not, Danielle Wyatt stated that she has only used it twice as it wasn’t good enough. She was also asked about her idol wherein she chose veteran British footballer David Beckham. Notably, Kohli was also among the available options. Wyatt also picked the Indian women’s cricket team as her favorite opponent.

She said, “It [The bat gifted by Kohli] was not really good, I only used it twice.”
“Definitely, David Beckham, he’s always been my idol growing up.”
“Love playing India against because I’ve had success against them in the past. Smriti Mandhana, I love batting with her in The Hundred. We bat well together. She has strengths and weaknesses, so I do I have. We complement each other quite well.”
Danielle Wyatt will represent UP Warriorz in the upcoming second season of the Women’s Premier League. The 32-year-old was acquired by the UP-based business for INR 30 lakh at the auction after going unsold last year. Aside from The Hundred, she has competed in the Women’s Big Bash League.
Danielle Wyatt also has a century in T20I cricket which came against India at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Wyatt has a phenomenal record in T20Is, scoring 2,602 runs in 130 innings at a strike rate of 127.23, including two tons and 13 half-centuries. She is also an effective off-spinner, taking 46 wickets in 45 innings with an economy rate of 5.65.
