BBL 2023-24 (Big Bash League 2023-24) is all set to commence next month. The 13th edition of the league commences on December 7. A total of 8 teams are part of BBL 2023-24.

They are Brisbane Heat, Melbourne Stars, Sydney Sixers, Melbourne Renegades, Adelaide Strikers, Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes, and Sydney Thunder. These teams will play a total of 44 games during the tournament.

Each team will play a total of 10 matches during the league stage of BBL 2023-24. The top five teams in the points table after the league stage will enter the playoffs. The BBL 2023-24 final takes place on Wednesday, January 24.

In the opening game on December 7, Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars will lock horns with each other at The Gabba in Brisbane. Perth Scorchers are the defending champions of BBL 2023-24. In the last season, they crushed Brisbane Heat to lift the trophy.
