England allrounder Ben Stokes has landed in India, and is now undergoing quarantine period in Chennai. India will welcome England for a full-fledged series next month. The series will have four Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is. The Test series will kickstart the series. The first and second Test will be played in Chennai, beginning February 5.

Ben Stokes, on Monday, shared a series of Instagram stories in which he can be seen describing what he will be up to for the next five days. In one of the stories, the star allrounder stated that he would have to make his bed for the next five days and made it clear that he does not like doing it. In another Instagram story, the World Cup-winner can be seen playing the video game “Call Of Duty”.

“Day 1 quarantine, I have done a fair bit of quarantine, have to try to make my bed every day, not the best job, but have to do it. So that’s basically me for the next five days,” Ben Stokes said in one of his Instagram stories.

Ben Stokes has landed in India with the other members of the squad who were not a part of the just-concluded Test series against Sri Lanka. England’s two-Test series in Sri Lanka ended on Monday with the visitors winning the second Test to clean sweep the series. The players will now arrive in India and begin their quarantine period before preparing for the Test series.

The four-match series is very important for both the teams as far as the World Test Championship (WTC) is concerned. India, who are currently at the top of the table, would want to maintain their pole position. England, on the other hand, are at the fourth spot and cannot afford another slip up if they are eyeing a place in the WTC final.

England’ squad for first two Tests against India:

Joe Root (C), Jos Buttler (WK), Zak Crawley, Ben Foakes (WK), Dan Lawrence, Jack Leach, Ben Stokes, Olly Stone, Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer, Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Dom Bess, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns.
