Star Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out for 6 months after his injury issues don’t seem to come to an end. Bhuvneshwar Kumar sustained a hip injury against Chennai Super Kings on Matchday 14 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).

It was announced that Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of the entire season due to his injury. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had made a comeback after a long time in professional cricket in this year’s IPL after having sustained an injury while playing for team India last year. As for SRH, their woes have continued ever since the inception of the tournament.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar Ruled Out For 6 Months

“He will be able to play only during the IPL as he is out of competitive cricket for six months,” an official in the know of things told IANS.

Bhuvneshwar was not picked in the Uttar Pradesh team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. However, the major concern for team India is his unavailability for the England series. The England National Cricket Team is all set to tour India from February for a four-match Test series and a five-match T20I series.

The tour will consist of four Test matches, followed by five T20Is, and three ODI games. The tour will commence from February 5 with the first Test taking place in Chennai. The third Test will be a pink-ball Test match that will be played at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. The fourth Test will also be played at the same venue.

Team India Is In Australia Since The IPL Ended

The Indian team does not seem to come out of injury woes as they have been playing cricket fast and thick in the last few months. All the major Indian players were involved in the IPL. Right after the IPL, India’s tour of Australia began.

Now, team India will head back to India once again after the Test series. Within two weeks’ span, the Indian cricket team will once again be in action against England. It will be a four-match Test series and a five-match T20I series.
