Rajasthan Royals have suffered a massive blow in the middle of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. As per the reports in Sportstar, it is learned that skipper Sanju Samson might be doubtful for the upcoming matches.
Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson underwent scans on Friday (18th April) after the injury that he faced in the game against Delhi Capitals. The reports claimed that the keeper-batter's availability for the rest of the season will depend on the results of the scans.

Sanju Samson then didn't come out to bat, and it was speculated that the batter had suffered some serious injury. But after the match, he provided an update, saying that he was fine but wasn't ready to bat.
"It feels alright (His injury). I wasn't just ready to come back and bat. It feels alright now. We will observe it tomorrow and see how it is," Samson said after the match.

However, him now undergoing scans hints that the injury is much worse than expected. The Rajasthan Royals management would be hoping that the result of the scans comes good; otherwise, it will be a massive blow for the franchise.

Rajasthan Royals will be next seen in action when they take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Saturday, April 19, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. It remains to be seen if Sanju Samson will be fit for the game or not.
