Rachin Ravindra has parted ways with Kolkata Knight Riders and has returned to be part of the New Zealand side for the upcoming Test series against England.
The Kolkata Knight Riders have been officially knocked out of the competition, though mathematically they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. KKR ended their winning streak in the last game with a defeat against the defending champions, RCB.
Kolkata Knight Riders are currently eighth in the points table and have managed to win only 4 matches this season and have secured nine points after one of their games were tied against Punjab Kings at the start of the season.
Rachin Ravindra heads back home ahead of the England series
Kolkata Knight Riders will have to part ways with their all-rounder Rachin Ravindra. The New Zealand all-rounder would have to return home to be part of the upcoming series against New Zealand.
England will host New Zealand for a Test series starting from the 4th of June at Lord's. The team for the England tour has been selected with Tom Latham leading them and Rachin Ravindra being part of the playing XI.
Glenn Phillips and Zak Foulkes would also be part of the same squad after they were part of the ongoing season of the IPL. They are all asked to be available for the tour before the knockout ends in the IPL.

Kane Williamson returns for the Test series against England
Kane Williamson the legendary batter has been part of New Zealand side for over a decade. However, he no longer signs a central contract with the New Zealand Cricket board which does not make him available for all of New Zealand's international matches.
Williamson, the former New Zealand skipper was part of Lucknow Super Giants camp as a strategic advisor. His team was the first to be eliminated from IPL 2026, and hence he might be available for the series.
The legend has played over 9400+ runs and is nearing a record of 10000+ runs in Test cricket. He was part of Fab-4 during his glorious career and has contributed immensely to the growth of New Zealand cricket.
New Zealand tour of England Schedule
New Zealand will play their upcoming Test series in this WTC against England. The first three matches this season will start with the first match at Lord's. The matches are scheduled to be played between 4th and 29th of June.
New Zealand are currently second in the ICC World Test Championship and would look to fancy their chances at the top of the points table with a PCT greater than that of table toppers Australia.
England on the other hand are much lower in the points table with 3 wins in ten matches and has a PCT of 31.67.
