The six players face different situations, though. Five England Test players face The Hundred Eliminator on Friday
Five members of England's Test squad are involved in Friday's Eliminator at The Oval, creating a potentially demanding turnaround ahead of the Pakistan series.
Manchester Super Giants have Gus Atkinson and Josh Tongue in their ranks, while Sunrisers Leeds have three England players in Harry Brook, Dan Lawrence and Brydon Carse. The winner of the Eliminator will then advance to Sunday's final at Lord's.
That creates the possibility of some England players featuring in two high-pressure knockout matches within three days before turning their attention towards Test cricket.
The Eliminator is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while England's first Test against Pakistan begins on Wednesday, August 19. That gives the players only a few days to recover, travel and switch their focus from a short-format competition to the demands of a five-day Test.
Ben Duckett has an even tighter turnaround after reaching the final
Duckett's situation is slightly different from the other five England players. The England opener's Trent Rockets have already qualified for The Hundred final at Lord's on Sunday. That means Duckett does not have to go through Friday's Eliminator, but he could still be involved in the tournament's final match only three days before the Test begins.
If either Atkinson, Tongue, Brook, Lawrence or Carse's side wins Friday's Eliminator, those players could join Duckett in Sunday's final before heading into England's Test preparations.
That makes the scheduling issue more significant than simply having six Test players involved in The Hundred.

The bigger concern for Joe Root is not fatigue, but preparation time
For captain Joe Root, the bigger question may not be whether his players are tired, but how much meaningful preparation they can complete before the Pakistan Test.
England are entering a new phase under Root, who has returned as Test captain, while Stephen Fleming has taken over as the team's permanent red-ball head coach. However, Fleming will not be in charge for the Pakistan series, with Marcus Trescothick serving as interim coach.
That makes the short turnaround even more relevant as England prepare for their first Test under the new leadership structure. Players coming directly from The Hundred will have spent the preceding weeks focused on T20 cricket. They will then have to quickly adjust to Test-match requirements, including longer spells at the crease, extended bowling workloads and the tactical demands of red-ball cricket.
England will therefore need to assess how much preparation each player requires rather than simply looking at whether they are available. The travel involved could also become a factor, particularly for those who progress to Sunday's final at Lord's.

The five players in the Eliminator do not face the same workload
The impact of the schedule will also depend heavily on the player's role. Gus Atkinson and Josh Tongue are fast bowlers, while Brydon Carse is another pace-bowling option. Their workload could therefore require closer monitoring, particularly if either player is involved in both the Eliminator and the Hundred final.
Harry Brook and Dan Lawrence, meanwhile, are batters, meaning their physical workload is different even if they are involved in extended innings. That distinction is important because it would be too simplistic to suggest that all six players face the same level of concern.
For England, the fast-bowling group could be the more obvious area to monitor. Atkinson, Tongue and Carse are all part of the Eliminator, meaning a deep run in the competition could leave them with limited time to transition into Test preparation.
