The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has filed a complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) against Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh for a code of conduct violation. Notably, the board had earlier complained against India captain Suryakumar Yadav for misconduct during the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.

India have opted to bat up to No. 8 and include just three specialist bowlers in most of their Asia Cup 2025 matches. Arshdeep Singh was on the bench for four of the six games. Notably, the left-arm fast bowler recently completed 100 T20I wickets for the Men in Blue during the eight-team tournament.

Haris then made a controversial '6-0' gesture toward Indian fans and mimicked planes being shot down, referencing Pakistan’s unverified claims of downing six Indian fighter jets during Operation Sindoor. The gestures came after the crowd taunted him with ‘Kohli, Kohli’ chants.

In response, Arshdeep delivered a sharp reply to Rauf’s provocations. A video of his reaction has gone viral on social media.

According to Sohail Imran, a sports correspondent for Geo TV, the Pakistan Cricket Board has filed a formal complaint with the International Cricket Council against Arshdeep. They alleged that Singh made inappropriate gestures toward spectators at the conclusion of the September 21 match.

The PCB has cited a breach of the ICC Code of Conduct and requested disciplinary action against the bowler. Imran shared the update on social media ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 final.

India and Pakistan have faced each other twice in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. The Men in Blue secured victories in both encounters at the Dubai International Stadium. India remains unbeaten in the tournament, while Pakistan’s only losses so far have come against India.
