China to host PSL 2027 Auction? A franchise owner makes a stunning proposal
As reported by Pakistani journalist Saleem Khaliq, one of the Pakistan Super League franchise owners suggested China as the venue for the upcoming PSL 2027 player auction.
Pakistan and China have a shared relationship like "Iron Brothers", and now a franchise owner wants to show the cricket world how they support each other, even in the cricket field.
Actually, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hosted the player auction thrice outside India in the Indian Premier League history. The UAE hosted the IPL auction twice, while Saudi Arabia hosted it once.

In another major move, the PCB has aligned its domestic cricket calendar with the PSL pre-season schedule to give talented local players a better chance of entering franchise cricket.
The official media release states, “In a significant step towards strengthening Pakistan's cricketing pipeline, the PCB has formally aligned its domestic competition calendar with the HBL PSL pre-season cycle. The National T20 Gold and National T20 Silver tournaments will serve as the primary talent-identification and player-pathway events ahead of the HBL PSL 12 Player Auction – offering outstanding domestic performers a clear and direct route from national circuit cricket into the country's premier T20 franchise league and onwards to national team consideration.”
