Former South African pacer Chris Morris has dropped a bombshell with his ultimate T20 dream team, and it’s packed with firepower, class, and sheer terror for bowlers and batters as well.

Morris has unveiled his all-time T20 XI, and the lineup is nothing short of sensational. Starting at the top, it’s no surprise that Morris has picked none other than India’s hitman Rohit Sharma to open the innings.

Morris admitted that the Indian skipper is one of the toughest batters he’s ever bowled to, and his record in the format speaks volumes. The right-handed batter has 4231 T20I runs and 11830 T20 runs to his name to date.

Morris has picked the undisputed king of T20 cricket, Chris Gayle, as Rohit’s opening partner. The ‘Universe Boss’ needs no introduction, and with Sharma, Morris’ openers would undoubtedly set the stage on fire from the very first ball. He amassed 1899 T20I runs and 14562 T20 runs.

At number three, the former Proteas pacer made a bold call by picking his "best player"—the l legendary South African batter AB de Villiers. Morris believes that his Proteas teammate must face the maximum deliveries, and given his incredible ability to change the course of any game, this choice makes perfect sense.

He stated: “At three, probably my best player, I would put him in, because he needs to face more balls than anyone, and that's AB de Villiers.” Then, Morris has picked Virat Kohli, a modern-day icon, at number four, bringing his unmatched consistency and chasing prowess to the lineup.

The batting power doesn’t stop there, as the former pacer has picked the explosive Kieron Pollard, one of the most devastating finishers in the game, at number five in his all-time T20 XI. And holding the fort at number six is the captain and wicketkeeper, MS Dhoni.

Chris Morris placed his full faith in Dhoni’s ice-cool temperament and charismatic leadership, not just behind the stumps but also to lead this superstar-packed XI.

In his bowling attack, Chris Morris turns to all-rounder Hardik Pandya at number seven, offering a mix of aggressive batting and seam bowling.

West Indies’ spin all-rounder Sunil Narine took the number eight spot, bringing his mysterious spin into the game and aggressive batting into the South African legend’s all-time T20 XI.

Then his heavy weaponry has India speedster Jasprit Bumrah at number nine, ready to tear through any opposition with his pinpoint accuracy, followed by the slingy brilliance of Lasith Malinga at number ten.

Finally, rounding off Chris Morris’ all-time T20 XI is the fearsome Australian pacer Brett Lee at number eleven, ensuring that his team’s pace attack has the perfect blend of speed and aggression. Morris has picked his all-time T20 XI in a video shared by Sportskeeda on his Instagram handle.
