Pressure is mounting on the Rajasthan Royals as they have lost another wicket against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. This time, it is the well-set batter Dhruv Jurel, who lost his scalp.
Corbin Bosch bowled him out just before the Timeout. Jurel dismissed for 38 runs from 26 balls with three 4s and a couple of 6s. So far, he has been the best batter in the middle for the Rajasthan Royals.
A brilliant delivery from Corbin Bosch departs Dhruv Jurel.
With Jurel’s departure, RR was 119 for 5 in 13 overs. Corbin Bosch, a MI seamer, launched a pinpoint yorker to rattle the stumps. Dhruv Jurel, who had a high backlift, could not get the time to put the bat down to squeeze the ball out.

MI formulates a unique way to counter the RR batters
Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya chose to bowl first after winning the toss against the Rajasthan Royals. MI is playing today without their prime bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. Without Bumrah in the line-up, the Pandya-led side applied a unique tactic during the powerplay. Instead of going back-to-back overs with the pacer, MI introduces spinners early in the game, which is not a regular instance at the Wankhede Stadium.

According to Cricbuzz, overall, this was MI's 18th such instance in the IPL (three overs or more), just the second in the Impact Player era.
"We will bowl first. It looks like a good track, and it tends to get better in the evening. The pitch looks hard, and it should get better once the sun goes down. It’s been a tough season for us, but we want to finish on a high," Hardik Pandya said at the toss.
Back-to-back dismissals cause trouble for the Rajasthan Royals
The spin-heavy powrplay proved mostly effective for the Mumbai Indians, as they plucked three wickets between the 1-6 over frame. Dangerous batters like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi could not do much against the Mumbai Indians today with their bat. The quick falls of Jaiswal and Sooryavanshi were the major setbacks for the Rajasthan Royals. Captain Riyan Parag also lost his wicket during his phase of the first innings.
After the departures of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Riyan Parag, it was Dhruv Jurel who was in charge of rotating the strike. Jurel and Dasun Shanaka tried to do the rescue work. While Shanaka was gone for a run out, Jurel was bowled out by Corbin Bosch. Back-to-back blows for the Rajasthan Royals.
It is a must-win match for the Rajasthan Royals as they still could make their way into the play-offs. On the other side, the Mumbai Indians are already out of the title race; they have nothing to lose.
