Known largely for his passion and talent in the game of cricket, Hussain had represented local cricket tournaments and had been proving his merit, making a name for himself in J&K's cricketing roles.

His untimely death has left his followers, fans, and family members grieving over the loss of the cricketer. Social media platforms were soon flooded with tributes, with many claiming that he was a very hard-working and gifted cricketer.

Police officials launch an investigation into the accident

Fareed Hussain was seen riding his scooter when a car parked on the roadside suddenly opened the door, resulting in a brutal collision. The force of the impact was so hard that it threw Hussain from his scooter and left him gravely injured and unresponsive.

Despite that, he was rushed to the nearest hospital by the locals, but the doctors could not save him, and he passed away on Saturday, the report stated. Police officials have reportedly launched an investigation into the accident and are inspecting the CCTV footage, which shows the collision clearly.

India and the boards will be grieving the loss of the aspiring cricketer before they advance to the Asia Cup 2025.
