Chahar, who was the first Indian player to register a hat-trick in T20I cricket, has slipped down the Indian cricket team’s pecking order because of repeated injuries.

His ongoing fitness problems have kept him away from the action, giving other fast bowlers the chance to take his spot and rise ahead of him in the team’s selection.

Notably, Chahar has a history of recurring injuries, including a right quadriceps injury, back stress fractures, and a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar stunned fans with his appearance in the 19th season of Big Boss, with many wondering whether the Indian seamer was joining the famous reality show. Bollywood icon and host of the show, Salman Khan welcomed Chahar in his style on the stage.

The veteran actor kept the suspense by mentioning how fans were waiting to see who will be the second wild card player as he welcomed Chahar on the show. The Indian seamer said, “I feel Big Boss is tougher than cricket itself. Because inside the house, you never really know who your enemies are and who your friends are.”

Malti Chahar confirmed as the second wildcard contestant of Bigg Boss 19

However, it is being said that it is not Deepak, but his sister Malti Chahar is the second wildcard contestant of Bigg Boss season 19.

A source was quoted as saying by Filmibeat: “Bigg Boss 19 is set to get spicier and juicier with the addition of a new wildcard contestant. The makers have introduced Malti Chahar as the new wildcard entry, promising to shake things up inside the BB 19 house.

After Shehbaz Gill (Badesha), Malti Chahar will enter the show to change the dynamics in Bigg Boss 19. Her entry is expected to affect the existing equations.”
