Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 63rd match of IPL 2025. This article provides details about Delhi Capitals' Playing 11 vs Mumbai Indians for match 63 of IPL 2025.

Delhi Capitals Playing 11 vs Mumbai Indians- IPL 2025, Match 63:

Openers: KL Rahul, Faf du Plessis

DC is expected to open the innings with KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis. The duo was yet another new opening pair that the Delhi Capitals went in with against GT.

KL Rahul, who picked up form in the last game courtesy of an elegant hundred, will look to get another big score at the Wankhede Stadium and guide the team to a much-needed win.

Faf du Plessis, on the other hand, would want to play in his usual aggressive way after struggling to score runs against GT.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Abishek Porel (wk), Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel (c), Sameer Rizvi, Ashutosh Sharma

The performance of DC's middle order would give a ray of hope to the management before going into the next match, as the likes of Porel and Axar made valuable contributions.

The Axar Patel-led side would like to replicate the performance they delivered in the batting department in their last home game against the likes of Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna.

Amidst the improved batting performance, Delhi Capitals would want Abishek Porel to prolong his innings in order to give the team the leverage of 10-15 extra runs.

The same can be said for DC's captain Axar Patel, who has failed to convert the starts that the left-hander has got into big scores and would want to lead from the front against MI.

DC will look to post a total of 200-210 runs, keeping in mind the vulnerability in their bowling attack.

Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Vipraj Nigam, Mustafizur Rahman, Dushmantha Chameera, T Natarajan

DC will have to rethink their bowling plans if they want to qualify for the playoffs by winning the next two games first of which is against MI on Wednesday.

The trio of T Natrajan, Dushmantha Chameera, and Mustafizur Rahman looked completely off colour in the previous game against the Gujarat Titans, which Delhi Capitals lost by ten wickets.

Natrajan, especially, was taken to the cleaners by Sai Sudharashan, who scored his second IPL century and attacked the fast bowlers consistently on the first three deliveries of his over.

Chameera and Rahman, on the other hand, started well but were not able to stem the flow of runs as the innings progressed.

Having said that, Delhi Capitals would want to stick with the fast bowling trio of Dushmantha Chameera, T Natarajan, and Mustafizur Rahman in order to bring some sort of stability in the bowling department.

Delhi would hope for their fast bowlers to pick wickets with the new ball for the spinners to have a say in the middle overs of the game, which wasn't the case against GT.
