Deodhar Trophy 2023: Watch - Prabhsimran Singh Takes Unbelievable Catch To Dismiss Ricky Bhui

North Zone wicket-keeper Prabhsimran Singh almost proved the law of gravity wrong as he plucked a sensational one-handed stunner in the ongoing game against South Zone in the Deodhar Trophy 2023 in Puducherry.

Opting to bat first, South Zone had a great start with the bat. After staggering contributions from the top order, they were looking for a solid finish and Ricky Bhui was one of the main men who looked threatening. He scored a brisk fifty and before he could unleash himself he was undone by the brilliance of Prabhsimran Singh.

During the 39th over of the innings, Ricky Bhui tried to play a ramp shot to short delivery by Mayank Yadav. He didn’t get a great connection and the ball moved towards the first slip region. It seemed that it’ll be a boundary but who knew Prabhsimran Singh had some other plans.

The keeper-batter flew to his right like a bird and put in the full stretch dive to pluck one of the best catches in the domestic circuit of India. What was impressive was Prabhsimran Singh first moved to his left but he quickly adjusted and picked a blinder.

Deodhar Trophy 2023: South Zone post 303 runs on the board

South Zone had a great start with the bat as Rohan Kunnummal (70) and Mayank Agarwal (64) stitched a staggering 171-Run partnership for the first wicket.

N Jagadeesan chipped in with a vital knock of 72 runs before Ricky Bhui added 31 runs. A vital contribution helped the team post a total of 303 runs on the board.
