Youngsters Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel were recently involved in a friendly banter on social media in which Jurel was seen trolling his India teammate. Both made their international debuts for India this year and are looked at as the future of Indian cricket.

Jurel was the first among these two talented cricketers to play for India. He made his debut in the third match of the home Test series against England played earlier this year a Rajkot.

The young wicketkeeper-batter was impressive in his first international outing as he scored a valuable 46 in the first innings of the match.

Meanwhile, Riyan Parag's fantastic IPL 2024 season earned him an international call-up for the tour of Zimbabwe.

He made his international debut in the T20I against Zimbabwe at Harare. Parag has also made his ODI debut, which was against Sri Lanka in Colombo a few days ago.

Parag's India and Rajasthan Royals teammate Dhruv Jurel was quick to notice the Rolex watch on his hand. Jurel's reply to Parag's post has gone viral on social media in which he wrote, "Ha bhai dikh gyi rolex (Yes brother, the Rolex is visible)."

Both Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel are good friends and have played with each other since their Under-19 days. Both the youngsters also play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) together for their team Rajasthan Royals.

Riyan Parag's IPL brilliance earned him an India call-up

Riyan Parag had a fantastic IPL season this year where he finished as the third-highest run-getter of the season, just behind Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Parag scored 573 runs in 16 matches at an average of 52.09 and a strike rate of 149.21.

Parag has always been rated highly due to the amount of talent he possesses. But the youngster had been unable to convert his potential into performance until this year. He has already started his international career on a decent note and can serve India for the years to come.

Parag is a decent spinner as well and can be more than useful on spin-friendly surfaces. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball can be useful for India as the Men in Blue lacks a player in this aspect.

Dhruv Jurel's fantastic Test debut

Meanwhile, Dhruv Jurel had a fantastic debut international series against England. Jurel was selected on the back of his fantastic performances in first-class cricket and the IPL. The wicketkeeper-batter was given a chance after KS Bharat failed to make the most of his chances.

Jurel played match-winning knocks in just his second Test match. The youngster showed tremendous composure under high pressure and scored 90 and 39* in the Ranchi Test to take India to a series win. The 23-year-old was adjudged Player of the Match for his excellent knocks. Jurel scored 190 runs in the three Tests at an average of 63.33.
