Arshdeep Singh, the Indian fast bowler and Punjab Kings star, said that he has learned how to handle internet trolls and memes about him. Arshdeep Singh said that he has experienced both highs and lows in his career within a short span, so he now finds the memes and jokes made about him quite funny.
Earlier, the Indian pacer would even save some of these posts, but with time, he’s stopped giving them importance, as he has realized it’s better to laugh at these things than take them seriously. However, Arshdeep still enjoys watching people’s creativity online.

Arshdeep Singh said on a ‘Kandid with Kings’ episode, “I have had ups and downs in my career. I have seen the highest point as well as the lowest point in a very short span. But I feel very entertained by these trolls. I laugh at their creativity and memes.
Earlier, I used to save these memes and messages so I could use them later, but now I feel they don’t make any sense. However, I still enjoy looking at people’s creativity.”
Arshdeep, who now has 84 wickets to his name in his 7 IPL seasons with Punjab Kings, thanked the team for playing a big role in shaping his career and credited the franchise for his growth as a cricketer. He has now become a key player in India’s white-ball scheme of things.

The star pacer explained, “Ever since I came to Punjab Kings, barring the first year, I started feeling seniority in my role. I have been associated with this team for the last seven years, and after spending my first year with the team, I started feeling that I had been given a huge responsibility.”
With the team trusting him in important moments, he quickly understood the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, so he started taking every little thing seriously.
Arshdeep signed off by saying, “The elevation in my role and growth came pretty early, and hence, I knew that I could not mess up at crucial stages because at those times, not working as per the plan can put the team in serious trouble. Hence, I became serious and started feeling like a senior way too early.”

The 26-year-old fast bowler, who picked up 19 wickets in the last season, has taken 8 wickets so far in the ongoing IPL 2025 and has played an important role in the Punjab Kings staying among the top 4 on the points table.
After being released by the franchise ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, the PBKS decided to bring him back, signing the pacer for INR 18 crore at the mega auction.
The pacer will next be seen in action when Punjab Kings take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday, April 18, in their next IPL 2025 clash.
