Duleep Trophy 2024 is all set to commence next month in September and Team D will start the tournament with a clash against Team C. The match begins on September 5 at ACA ADCA Ground in Anantapur.

Duleep Trophy will observe a battle between four teams namely- Team A, Team B, Team C, and Team D. All these teams are led by national-level players like Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Uncapped player Abhimanyu Easwaran is the captain of Team D.

Team D will play a total of three games in the first round; which is a round-robin format. Team D will face each other team once. They will clash with Team C in the first match from September 5 to 8.

Later, they will face Team A and Team B in the next two games from September 12 and September 19 respectively.

The venue of the second match is Rural Development Trust Stadium while the last match is ACA ADCA Ground, Anantapur.

Now, only the first stage of the Duleep Trophy has been announced by the BCCI. The top two teams in the points table after the first round will clash in the semis and final.

The schedule for the final will be released later and the second phase will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium. Below is all you need to know about Team D's schedule in the season.

If we analyze the Team D squad in the Duleep Trophy 2024, they have a strong skipper in the form of Shreyas Iyer. He is a regular member of the Test team and also showed amazing captaincy in IPL 2024 by leading Kolkata Knight Riders to the title.

Devdutt Padikkal is another powerful top-order batsman for the side. Axar Patel is a dominant all-rounder while Ishan Kishan and Srikar Bharat are national level-skippers. In the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh and Tushar Deshpande are two strong names in their squad.
