Young batter Yash Dubey bagged the most unfortunate dismissal while playing for India D in the game against India A in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. The match between the two teams took place at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur.

Chasing the target of 488 runs, Yash Dubey came up with a decent outing with the bat for his team. The batter made sure that he took his team off to a decent start even after they lost Atharva Taide for a five-ball duck in the game. He looked in decent touch as he played some crisp shots.

Yash Dubey was providing great support to Ricky Bhui as the duo added 100 runs for the second wicket. They were keeping their team in the hunt as they batted well and frustrated the opposition bowlers, keeping their team in the hunt.

With the way Yash Dubey was batting, it seemed that he would go on to play a big innings. But the batter bagged a most unfortunate dismissal in the game. He got extremely unlucky as he got run out at the non-striker's end without even doing anything wrong.

Spinner Shams Mulani bowled a delivery to Ricky Bhui that was full-on leg-stump. The batter played the drive to the right of the bowler, and the ball took a deflection off Yash Dubey's bat at the non-striker's end as he was trying to get out of the way and get run for his team.

But to his unfortunate, the ball got a deflection from the bat, and it went right next to the non-striker's stumps. Shams Mulani showed great presence of mind as he picked the ball in a flash and whipped out the bails to send the batter packing and end his innings.

Yash Dubey ended with an innings of 37 runs off 94 balls, and with his wicket, India D lost their second wicket for 102/2. The batter didn't have a great outing with the bat in the first innings. He ended with innings of 14 runs off 41 balls.

After Dubey got out, Ricky Bhui made sure that he continued his good for the team. The batter slammed a terrific century and is keeping his team in the hunt. He will be valiant for his team in the chase as they are eyeing to win the game, having lost the first game of the tournament.

Shreyas Iyer (41), along with Sanju Samson (40), played a decent hand for his teams. The duo looked in good touch but couldn't carry on as they lost their wickets at the crucial juncture of the game. India D were left tottering at 220/5, but Bhui is keeping his team in the hunt.

India D would be hoping that he carries his good form and helps his team win the game. The right-hander would be hoping to win the game for his team and make his case strong for Indian team selection.
