Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman fell on the pitch during England vs Bangladesh match of the ICC World Cup 2023. The incident occurred when Joe Root stopped him from bowling during the match.
England takes on Bangladesh in their second match of the ICC World Cup 2023. The match takes place at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl first in the match.

During the match, Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman fell on the crease after losing his balance. The incident happened in the 23rd over of England???s batting. The left-arm pacer started his run-up to deliver the ball. However, batsman Joe Root was not prepared and he moved away from the wicket at the last moment.
As a result, Mustafizur Rahman did not deliver the ball despite completing his run-up. He lost his balance and fell on the pitch. However, he did not face any injury during the incident. ICC shared the video of the incident on Instagram. Have a look at the video below.

Meanwhile, England is gearing towards a gigantic total against Bangladesh in the match. After 40 overs, England has already crossed 300 runs on the scoreboard. Dawid Malan scored a marvellous knock of 140 runs for the team.

Jonny Bairstow also slammed 52 runs. Joe Root has crossed 80 runs and is inching towards his century. Skipper Jos Buttler got out cheaply for 20 runs. Bangladesh bowlers have emerged as too costly in the match.
England lost their opening match to New Zealand by 9 wickets. On the other hand, Bangladesh outplayed Afghanistan in their opening game of ICC World Cup 2023.
ICC World Cup 2023 has witnessed some big total and the England vs Bangladesh match is expected to be one of them. Earlier, New Zealand slammed 322 against the Netherlands. South Africa smacked 428-5 against Sri Lanka, scripting the record for the highest-ever total in ODI World Cup history.
