England National Cricket Team will start their 2027 World Cup campaign against Bangladesh in Windhoek on October 8. Their Group B schedule then takes them to Windhoek again, Harare, Gqeberha and back to Harare before the Super 7 stage.
The tournament format places England in Group B alongside South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Qualifier B. England have been assigned the AB4 position in the Super 7 seeding, giving them a defined pathway if they reach that stage.
England’s World Cup 2027 Schedule and Complete Fixtures
England's first match is against Bangladesh in Windhoek on October 8. They then meet Sri Lanka at the same venue on October 13.
Their third Group Stage fixture is against South Africa in Gqeberha on October 16. England return to Harare to face Qualifier B on October 20 before ending the Group Stage against New Zealand in Gqeberha on October 23.

England therefore have two matches against pre-seeded Super 7 sides, South Africa and New Zealand, during the Group Stage.
England’s Opponents, Match Dates and Venues
The opening Bangladesh match is one of three Group Stage fixtures scheduled in Windhoek. England's Sri Lanka game will also be played at the Namibia Cricket Ground.
The South Africa fixture moves to Gqeberha before England travel to Harare for Qualifier B. Their final Group Stage match against New Zealand returns to Gqeberha.
England's AB4 position means their Super 7 schedule is already outlined by the ICC, although qualification and the final composition of the seven-team stage remain conditional.
England’s Path From the Group Stage to the World Cup Final
England's current Super 7 pathway begins against South Africa in Tshwane on October 27. They then face Pakistan in Victoria Falls on October 30, Sri Lanka in Cape Town on November 2, Australia in Durban on November 5, New Zealand in Durban on November 8 and India in Gqeberha on November 11.

The Super 7 will determine the four semi-finalists, with first place facing fourth and second facing third.
The semi-finals are scheduled for November 17 in Cape Town and November 18 in Tshwane, followed by the final in Johannesburg on November 21.
