Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry announced that British Envoy has assured the England Cricket team will be touring Pakistan for a complete test series in October 2022. This is a huge achievement for Pakistan who has slowly gathered nations to tour their nation for limited-overs series or test series after a long time.
The Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked on the bus by terrorists on the 2009 tour to Pakistan and countries have been reluctant to visit the nation ever since that. UAE has been the preferred home nation for Pakistan after 2009. However, the nation has grown large in terms of security, and several nations have started visiting Pakistan with South Africa being the latest.

England To Tour Pakistan Ahead Of T20 World Cup
Before arriving in India for the T20 World Cup this October, the England Cricket Board has confirmed that they will be visiting Pakistan after 16 years for two T20 internationals on October 14 and 15, in Karachi. Both England and Pakistan are scheduled to leave for India on October 16 for the mega ICC tournament. This will be a huge boost to the nation after what happened in 2009 and how they have transformed themselves to get to the place they are in.
Pakistan recently hosted a full series against South Africa after a long time and it panned out really well in terms of security arrangements.
