On a positive note for the England cricket team, experienced spinner Adil Rashid has been declared fit to return to international cricket, and he will tour to Pakistan with the national side.
Rashid missed the recently played three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka because of an injury concern. Without Rashid, the Three Lions won the series against the Sri Lanka national cricket team.
Along with Rashid Khan, pace bowling all-rounder Sam Curran will also mark his return in international cricket after being diagnosed with a groin injury, while their premier fast bowler Jofra Archer will not travel to Pakistan because of workload management reasons. Archer will be on rest during the tri-nation ODI series.
"The tri-series in Pakistan provides another valuable opportunity for our ODI squad to test themselves against quality opposition in different conditions. Marcus North expressed that he is named in the team because of his brilliants utings in the domestic cricket. Additionally, as the team is willing to utilise the subcontinental conditions, the felt it right to add Mason Creane in the ODI squad for his
"Mason Crane has been performing consistently for Glamorgan across both formats during the summer. He’s an experienced, high-class leg-spinner who thoroughly deserves another opportunity at international level," Marcus North added further.
