England vs India 2021: Shane Warne Picks T20I Star Liam Livingstone For The Last Two Tests In Place Of Jos Buttler

England wicketkeeper batsmen Jos Buttler will not be available for the last two Tests and legendary spinner Shane Warne has suggested the hosts go with Liam Livingstone. England pulled themselves back into the ongoing five-match series against India with an excellent win in the Headingly Test and have levelled the series 1-1.
Ollie Robinson bowled at a different class and proved his first-class numbers weren’t wrong while the veteran James Anderson gave no freebies on the fourth day morning. The series is well poised at the moment and it won’t be a surprise if India stages another comeback in the fourth Test at The Oval.
Shane Warne Bats For In-Form Liam Livingstone
The former Australian leg spinner Shane Warne has suggested the English side include Liam Livingstone in the playing XI for his extraordinary ability to hit sixes at will. Livingstone has already earned the reputation of a big hitter through his prowess in the home T20I series against Sri Lanka where he notched up a brilliant century.
Since then, Liam Livingstone has been in supreme form in The Hundred for the Birmingham Pheonix and he almost pulled off a victory for them in the finals with a knock of 46 off just 19 deliveries. He hit overall 27 sixes in the Hundred tournament alongside 22 fours and his first-class numbers are decent enough too. Livingstone has enough experience with 61 first-class games and has scored 7 centuries so far.
India’s Consistent Batting Collapses
India had to go through another batting collapse on day four of the Headingly Test as they started the day on 215 for the loss of 2 wickets with two set batsmen in. Pujara’s wicket completely changed the game in favor of the hosts as wickets started to bundle out. Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant couldn’t contribute much and Jadeja stuck around with the tailenders scoring a brisk 30. However, this is the second batting collapse in the same test and it has happened quite often in Adelaide, in the first innings at Lord’s and it has become a familiar story.
The Indian team selection for the fourth Test will certainly be immensely noted if Virat Kohli does change the batting lineup.
