During the post-match press conference after Day’s play, a reporter asked Shardul Thakur about his new nickname Lord. To this, the 29-year-old player replied that Lord’s is just a meme that started on social media and he has only two nicknames.

“I have only two nicknames, Lord is just a meme started in social media but I am pretty happy that I am getting lots of love from the teammates & fans across the world”, Thakur said. Have a look at the video below where the Indian pacer opened up about his nicknames.
