An ODI series between two completely different teams at the moment. England and Sri Lanka are sitting polar opposites in terms of where the team are currently placed at the moment. While England are boiling with confidence after the T20I series win, Sri Lanka are staring at back-to-back series defeats. The first of the three ODIs start on Tuesday at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street, on Tuesday, June 29.
The T20I series has highlighted the inexperience of the Sri Lankan national team at the moment. Players like Kusal Perera, Isuru Udana, and a handful of others are the most experienced players in the side.
