Indian batting has yet again led to their downfall in the ongoing series

Indian batting has yet again led to their downfall in the ongoing series. The Rohit Sharma-led side has come up with a torrid effort with the bat in the ongoing match. It not only has put them on the back foot but also has eliminated the possibility of winning the game for them.

After Australia's innings ended with 445 runs, it was expected that Rohit Sharma and his team would come up with a fighting effort with the bat. But it was an utter disappointment as batters, fair to say, gave their wickets away and looked in a hurry.

Rohit Sharma & Co. end Day 3 in Brisbane at 51/4

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the first wicket of fell as he attempted to play the flick and ended up giving the catch to Mitchell Marsh. After that, Shubman Gill went for a big drive and managed the edge, which was caught in the gully region as India lost two quick wickets.

Virat Kohli also chased the delivery outside off while Rishabh Pant too could have left the ball he played. India National Cricket Team were left reeling at 44/4 as Australia National Cricket Team bowlers were all over the batters. But it's fair to say that they could've avoided the damage but it wasn't meant to be.

Only KL Rahul looked solid with the bat. He showed everyone how to bat as he showed great discipline and also hit gorgeous fours. He was unbeaten at 30 runs while Rohit Sharma joined him at the end of the day as India ended Day 3 with the score of 51/4, trailing by 394 runs.

Expressing yourself" is one of the biggest misnomers out there - Jatin Paranjape left worried with India's batting

Jatin Paranjape was left worried about the way India batted on Day 3 of the ongoing Gabba Test. He pointed out that when the team has over 400 runs to start, they have a plan to bat for longer periods. He also criticized the team's approach of "expressing themselves", saying that it's one of the biggest misnomers.

Not only this, he was also critical of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill for the way they got out, claiming that they needed to play for the team and not for their own satisfaction. Taking to his Twitter account, he explained:

"More than the scoreline, its the way that India batted today that is worrying. When you are staring down 440, surely you have to approach it from the perspective of batting for long durations of play?

"Expressing yourself" is one of the biggest misnomers out there. You have to play for the team, not only for the satisfaction of your own mind !! Jaiswal and Gill were disappointing today."
