Fans on Twitter reacted after Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant bagged another failure in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The keeper-batter failed to get going in the game against Mumbai Indians at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Rishabh Pant, who walked out to bat in the 9th over, was expected to play a valuable hand for his team. But that wasn't the case as the Lucknow Super Giants bagged their fourth consecutive failure in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

But, his stay at the crease lasted only 6 balls as he was removed by his Mumbai Indians counterpart Hardik Pandya. On the 4th ball of the 11th over, the all-rounder bowled a delivery on a length that held up and the Lucknow Super Giants skipper looked to tuck it in a search for a single.

However, he didn't get his timing right as he got a leading edge. Corbin Bosch, who was at mid-off came charging in, put in the slide, and took it one-handed. Rishabh Pant closed the face of the bat early and the ball spooned up as Lucknow Super Giants was jolted with the massive blow.

Rishabh Pant managed just 2 runs off 6 balls, and with his wicket, Lucknow Super Giants lost their third wicket for 107 runs. The keeper-batter looked frustrated with the way he got out as it marked yet another failure for him, especially after getting a high price of INR 27 crore in the auction.

Rishabh Pant started the league with a 6-ball duck against Delhi Capitals and then scored just 15 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the game against Punjab Kings, he scored just 2 runs and had the same fate in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians.
