Gautam Gambhir's filthy allegations against Sourav Ganguly exposed by Manoj Tiwary: "When I told Dada, he..."

Former India cricketer Manoj Tiwary has been in the headlines ever since he announced his retirement from international cricket. Tiwary has made a shocking claim and launched a scathing attack on India's head coach Gautam Gambhir.

The former Bengal cricketer claimed that Gambhir had insulted the legendary India captain Sourav Ganguly when the latter had joined the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB). Tiwary also claims to be threatened by Gambhir when the two of them were playing a Ranji match in Delhi.

Manoj Tiwary has always been critical of Gautam Gambhir ever since they got into a tussle with each other in Ranji Trophy in 2015. Both were a part of KKR's title-winning IPL team at one point but their relationship soured as the time passed.

How did Gautam Gambhir defame Sourav Ganguly?

During an interview with Lallantop, Manoj Tiwary revealed an incident in which Gautam Gambhir used abusive words for Sourav Ganguly. According to Tiwary, Gambhir accused Ganguly of using his sources to get into the administration part of CAB.

"When he was constantly abusing, I remember Sourav Ganguly had just joined CAB. He was speaking rubbish about him too. He said things like 'Woh apna jack laga ke aa gaya. Tu bhi uske peeche aa gaya? Tu bhi yeh sab karke pahoch gaya. (He used his sources to reach where he has, and you too followed him? You're up to such shenanigans too)'," Tiwary said.

Tiwary also claims to have told all these things back to Ganguly. However, the former India captain was calm enough to handle this situation and didn't react much. Both Gambhir and Tiwary haven't talked to each other since that moment.

"When I told Dada, he said 'theek hai' (It's fine). My duty was to convey it to him. You can see that he [Gambhir] has anger issue. After that day, there's no scope of us talking or meeting," Tiwary said on The Lallantop in an interview," he added.

Manoj Tiwary revealed the incident in which he and Gautam Gambhir went up against each other in a heated moment in Delhi. The incident even reached a point where both of them were ready for a fight with each other, according to Tiwary.

"I have never heard anybody give such abuses. If anybody abuses your mother, you should not take it lying down. I am not a person who can handle abuses quietly. I asked him, 'Gauti bhai, why are you talking like this?'. Then the over got over. Then I lost cool," Tiwary remembered.

Gautam Gambhir's tenure as India's head coach hasn't gone as he would have liked so far. India lost an ODI series to Sri Lanka for the first time in 27 years. Afterwards, the Men in Blue even suffered a home Test series defeat to New Zealand.

It was India's first Test series defeat at home in 12 years. Recently, India suffered another low when they lost the Test series in Australia 1-3. India lost its first Test series to Australia in a decade.
