IND vs AUS: It all went pretty quickly – Glenn Maxwell after his ton against India

Glenn Maxwell opened up about his knock against India. He said that they didn’t have any number in mind because they knew they would be in the game if they bat deep. He also lauded skipper Mathew Wade for supporting him. Speaking during the post-match presentation, he explained:

“It all went pretty quickly. It was hard work for them to bowl yorkers with so much dew. We didn’t really have a number in mind. Knew we would be in the game if we could take it down to the final over. Wade had to be out there to cash in with Axar having one over left towards the end. Wade was brilliant out there, the way he went helped me as well.”

Glenn Maxwell will now be heading home. He won’t be part of the remaining two T20I against India.
