Sai Sudharsan vs Trent Boult:

The battle between Sai Sudharsan and Trent Boult could decide the fate of the GT innings. The left-handed batsman has been in stunning form this season and is currently the leading run-scorer in the competition. Sudharsan scored 41 runs in the last game against Lucknow Super Giants and will be eyeing another impactful outing with the bat.

With Sudharsan in such good form, the onus will be on Trent Boult to ensure that the right-handed batsman does not get the start. Boult is known for his ability to strike with the new ball and the New Zealander will be keen to make an impact.

Shubman Gill vs Jasprit Bumrah:

Shubman Gill has impressed one and all with his captaincy in the ongoing season. With the season now on the line, the right-handed batsman will be looking to lead his team from the front. Gill is the second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2025 and will be keen to score big against MI.

With the GT skipper in good form, MI will be relying on their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah to get his wicket. Gill can single-handedly win the match on his day and Bumrah will be looking to dismiss him as early as possible.

Suryakumar Yadav vs Prasidh Krishna:

Suryakumar Yadav has been in terrific form this season as well. He is MI's leading run-scorer in the competition and only Gill and Sudharsan have scored more runs than him in the ongoing competition. Having scored half-centuries in his last two matches, Suryakumar will be keen to play another impactful knock in the Eliminator.

GT, on the other hand, will be hoping that their in-form pacer Prasidh Krishna gets the big wicket early in the match. Prasidh has taken 23 wickets so far and will be keen on adding more wickets to his tally.
