Gujarat Titans take on Delhi Capitals in the reverse fixture of IPL 2024 in Delhi on April 24. They are heading into the game being in the lower half of the points table and being in desperate need of points.
The Titans are placed sixth on the points table. As a team, they are yet to win two back-to-back games on the trot. They lost their previous fixture against Delhi Capitals where they were bowled out for just 89 runs. They would like to see that game as an aberration and come back hard at them in the game in Delhi.
In between, they won the game against the Punjab Kings. The Kings were bowled out for 142 and the Titans chased down the game in the 29th over of their innings. They had their target chasing the below-par total against PBKS.
The side is heavily dependent on individuals to win the games. With the bat, they are dependent on the likes of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan while with the ball, they are dependent on Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, and Mohit Sharma.

Shubman Gill (C)
Gill will open the batting for The Titans. Against Punjab Kings, he scored 35 off 29 balls. His wicket started a mini collapse for the Titans before Rahul Teatia took them to a win.
Wriddhiman Saha (WK)
Saha is back in the lineup. He scored 13 off 11 balls. He has failed to be consistent in giving his team quick starts throughout the season. In between he had a hamstring injury.
Sai Sudharsan
The southpaw will slot in at three. He scored 31 off 34 balls and tried to hold the innings together with his skipper. He has scored 269 at an average of 33.62.
David Miller
Miller has the highest score of 44 this season for Gujarat Titans. Against PBKS, he was out for just four runs from six balls. He was out of the game for almost two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Azmatullah Omarzai
Omarzai the all-rounder will slot in at five. He scored 13 off 10 balls. He played a few games initially then was benched and brought back into the playing XI again in the last game. In the five games, he played, he picked up four wickets and scored 41 runs.
Rahul Tewatia
Tewatia will slot in at six. He scored 36 off 18 balls to win the match for his side in the previous game against PBKS. While the wickets falling around him, he kept a cool head and took his team over the line.
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan will slot in at seven. He has picked up 8 wickets from 8 games and scored 63 2ith the bat. He is three short of 150 IPL wickets. He already went past 50 wickets for GT earlier in the season.
Noor Ahmad
Noor will be Rashid's spinning partner from the other end. He has picked up five wickets from six games this season. He picked up 16 wickets last season. Against PBKS, he picked up 2/20.
Mohit Sharma
Mohit will be one of the two Indian pacers concluding the XI. He has picked up 10 wickets from 8 games and is the highest wicket-taker for GT so far this season.
Umesh Yadav
Umesh Yadav should be brought into the playing XI in place of Sandeep Warrier. With Mohd Shami already missing, Umesh and Mohit's experience counts a lot for GT. He has picked up seven wickets from six games so far this season.
Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore
Sai Kishore concludes the likely playing XI for GT. He has not been given too many opportunities. He made the most of it in the last game picking up 4/33 against PBKS.
Impact Sub: Shahrukh Khan
GT is now using Shahrukh Khan as the Impact sub in the last few games trying to bolster their batting after covering all departments with the ball. He will continue to play in that role. Shahrukh scored 8 off 4 in the last game.
