Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 26th match of IPL 2025 on April 12 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Lucknow Super Giants have been able to snatch victories from the jaws of defeat in the ongoing IPL season, which is an undeniable fact, especially in the last two games against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively
Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans has won four out of five games in IPL 2025 and is currently sitting at the top of the points table. The Shubman Gill-led side will aim to put on another strong performance in the upcoming match against the Lucknow Super Giants

Openers: Shubman Gill (c), Sai Sudharshan
Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill will start the innings along with left-hander Sai Sudharshan. Shubman would like to get back among runs after missing out in the last match against RR, courtesy of a good delivery from Jofra Archer
Sai Sudharsan, on the other hand, continued his rich vein of form that he showed against RR and scored a match-winning half-century to take his team over the line, and would like to do the same against Lucknow Super Giants.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Jos Buttler (wk), Shahrukh Khan, Sharfen Rutherford, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Washington Sundar
Gujarat Titans would like their middle-order batters, including the likes of Jos Buttler, Shah Rukh Khan, Sherfane Rutherford, and Rahul Tewatia, to replicate the form they showed in the last match and put on a solid performance in the upcoming game against Lucknow Super Giants
Washington Sundar, who was given an opportunity against SRH, grabbed it with both hands and fell one run short of a well-deserved half-century but formed a crucial partnership with Shubman Gill to lay the platform for Gujarat Titans to earn a comfortable win.
Although Washington Sundar did not get a chance in the last game as a fast bowler was preferred over him as an impact substitute, he would like to carry his good form into the match against Lucknow Super Giants and perform in all three departments of the game if given a chance
Bowlers: Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Arshad Khan
Mohammed Siraj has been the standout bowler for the GT and has been the backbone of the team with the new ball in the first six overs. Siraj has picked up crucial wickets for the team in the powerplay and has made the job easy for the bowlers to come.
Siraj has got good support from Arshad Khan, who has been drafted into the playing XI in place of Kagiso Rabada, who has gone back to South Africa and has picked up wickets of experienced batters like Virat Kohli and Nitish Rana
GT has one of the most lethal spin attacks in the tournament, led by an in-form Sai Kishore, who has overtaken Rashid Khan to be the lead spinner of the team.GT would want their experienced Afghan leg spinner Rashid Khan to get back his form.
