Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 64th match of IPL 2025. This article provides details about the Gujarat Titans' Playing 11 vs LSG for match 64 of IPL 2025.
Gujarat Titans Playing 11 vs LSG- IPL 2025, Match 64:
Openers: Shubman Gill (c), Sai Sudharshan
The pair of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharshan will begin the innings for the 2022 IPL champion GT in the team's next match against LSG at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The duo will look to continue the unbeaten partnership they stitched against the Delhi Capitals in the last match.
The leading run scorer at the moment, Sai Sudharshan, who is coming on the back of an elegant hundred, will look to cash in on the opportunity to score some runs at GT's home ground.
Shubman, on the other hand, has played his role of anchoring the innings to perfection and will hope to do the same against LSG.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Jos Buttler (wk), Shahrukh Khan, Sherfane Rutherford, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Washington Sundar
GT's middle-order batters like Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia haven't had much to do in the ongoing season of the league due to the top three's contribution with the bat.
Jos Buttler, in particular, has been in magnificent form and has built on the good work he did for the Rajasthan Royals till last season.
The wicketkeeper batter would like to put on a strong performance in the last two league matches before joining England to fulfill national commitments.
Gujarat Titans' management has made a smart choice between Rutherford and Sundar as far as choosing the impact substitute is concerned.
The former champions have an in-form and well-rounded batting unit with a solid top order.
Bowlers: Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Arshad Khan
The fast bowling trio of Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Arshad Khan bowled well in GT's previous game against the Delhi Capitals.
The three fast bowlers kept the pressure on the batters in the first six overs by not letting them free their arms.
Arshad, in particular, has impressed everyone with his pace and knack of taking big wickets at crucial moments that have turned the game in favour of GT on many occasions.
Having said that, the Gujarat Titans' management would hope for a good sixth bowling option as veteran Ishant Sharma hasn't looked in the best of form so far in the tournament.
The Shubman Gill-led side would be chuffed by the way Rashid Khan has bowled in the recent outings. Rashid's form is a good sign for GT before going into the playoffs.
Gujarat Titans would also be satisfied by the performance of left-arm spinner Sai Kishore in the last game, who picked up the important wicket of Abishek Porel and bowled well in the middle overs.
