Gulbadin Naib goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Gulbadin Naib has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1 crore. The Afghanistan allrounder played for Delhi Capitals in the last season of the IPL.

While the veteran allrounder had registered himself for the last auction at the base price of INR 50 lakh, he went unsold. Later, the Delhi-based outfit signed him up to replace injured Mitchell Marsh in their team. Naib played 2 games in his debut IPL season and scored 19 runs.

While the 33-year-old has played only two games in the IPL so far, he has been playing T20Is since 2012. So far, Naib has played 73 T20Is for Afghanistan. He has scored 897 runs and picked up 33 wickets in the shortest format of the game.

Naib has also played in the Bangladesh Premier League. Overall, he has played 141 T20s and scored 1855 runs in addition to taking 78 wickets.
