India batter Hanuma Vihari will be playing for the Madhya Pradesh in the domestic circuit. He finally parted ways with the Andhra Cricket Association after he was given NOC by the state board to play for some other team in domestic cricket.
Hanuma Vihari had some issues with the Andhra Cricket Association and the issue was one of the most talked about things in Indian domestic cricket. The senior batter had some issues with a young player, who had political influence and even the board was against him.
After that, Hanuma Vihari expressed his desire to play for some other state. He asked for the NOC but the Andhra cricket association didn’t grant and now after six months, he has been allowed to play for the Madhya Pradesh and will be playing for the new team.
MPCA secretary Sanjeev Rao talked about the same and confirmed that Hanuma Vihari will be playing for Madhya Pradesh. He stressed that the batter will be submitting his papers to the association, and they will enroll him. Speaking to News 18, he explained:
“Yes, he will be playing for MPCA in the coming season. There was some delay in his NOC from ACA but I heard he has received it now. So the moment he submits the paperwork, there will be no roadblocks.”
MPCA secretary Sanjeev Rao admitted that Hanuma Vihari has been in talks with Madhya Pradesh since the last season and also approached coach Chandrakant Pandit. While talking about his signing, Rao stated that Vihari would be an asset to the team. He added:
“There were talks last season too and we are happy to have him here. He approached Chandu sir after last season and expressed his wish to play for MPCA. He is a senior cricketer and will be an asset for any team.”

MPCA secretary Sanjeev also talked about the possibility of giving leadership to Hanuma Vihari. He claimed that the decision would take place after conversations with the coach and selectors. He added:
“It is too early to confirm that but yes he will be considered and will be very much in the mix. The discussions will happen with Chandrakant Pandit and selectors and only then everything will be done. So I can’t confirm at this stage but can say that he will be very much in the mix.”
The secretary also talked about Kuldeep Sen, who returned to MPCA after moving base to Tamil Nadu last season, stating that the fast bowler has submitted his papers. He added:
“Kuldeep is back and he has already submitted his paperwork. As far as Kulwant is concerned, the selection panel will evaluate his performance and then take a call based on the composition of the squad and the mix that coach Pandit and selectors want. So let’s see. But Kuldeep and Hanuma are confirmed as of now,” he conceded.
