Harpreet Brar Bought By Punjab Kings For INR 1.50 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Spinner Harpreet Brar has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. A left-arm spinner, he plies his trade for Punjab in domestic cricket.
In the IPL, he has played for only one team so far - Punjab Kings. His journey in the IPL began in 2019. In his debut season, Brar played two games and could not pick any wicket. In the following two seasons, he played only one game and went wicketless once again.
In IPL 2021, he finally picked up his maiden wicket and finished the season with 5 wickets from 7 games. He also maintained a brilliant economy rate of only 6.04 in 2021. In IPL 2022, the 29-year-old picked up 4 wickets in 5 games.
His most prolific season with the ball in the IPL so far came in 2023 when he claimed 9 wickets in 13 games. In IPL 2024, Harpreet played 13 games once again and picked up 7 wickets while maintaining an economy rate of less than 7.
