Australia have been totally dominant in the ongoing edition of the Ashes. The Ashes triumph in the first game in Perth was single-handedly crafted by some dominant batting from Travis Head. He then replaced injured Usman Khawaja and turned into a solid opening option for the Aussies.
Travis Head scores another ton after being dropped on 99* at Adelaide
Australian opener Travis Head has been off with some fire in these Ashes. The opening batter reached his second century of this Ashes series after launching Joe Root for a boundary over the bowler's head.
However, Head had already been dropped once in this innings, and that too at one of the most crucial junctures of the game, when he was just a step away from completing his century. Ben Stokes has been off the ground, and vice-captain Harry Brook has served as England's stand-in skipper.
Fielding in the gully region, the England stand-in skipper dropped Travis Head as he attempted to cut a wide ball through the region between gully and point.
Head then continued his love affair with Adelaide, and the two hometown boys, Alex Carey in the first innings and now Head in the second innings, reached their hundreds. After his ton, Head leaned and kissed the Adelaide pitch as a part of his century celebrations.

Travis Head gets his fourth hundred in consecutive Test matches in Adelaide
Adelaide has been one of the most memorable tracks for the Australian batter Head, as he has scored four centuries in the last four Test matches. Head has been playing with some ease, as Will Jacks has been his constant target.
The England skipper, Ben Stokes, is off the pitch, as Harry Brook took over as the captain of the England side. England is also down by a bowler and hence had to introduce Joe Root into the attack, with Will Jacks bowling constantly from one end.
Jack's managed to dismiss the batter Usman Khawaja in the second innings as well, as he was dismissed in the first innings by the England spinner. Australia dominates after a not-so-convincing start, as the centurion from the first innings, Alex Carey, builds on a promising partnership with Travis Head.
Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer revived England's chances with a century 9th-wicket partnership
England struggled in the first innings with 8 wickets down for just 168 runs. Jofra Archer entered the field to dominate with the bat after having picked up a five-wicket haul in the bowling innings.
Archer reached the maiden half-century of his Test career, as he and Ben Stokes took England past the 250-run mark with the highest-ever partnership for the 9th wicket for England. It was a huge century partnership between the skipper and the no. 10, who looked more confident than the regular English batters.
