Harsha Bhogle has raised a serious issue on the social media platform ‘X’. He mentioned the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) as well to make authorities aware of what’s going on on social media platforms.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi did pure carnage in the IPL 2026 season and ended by winning multiple trophies for his individual performance. Harsha Bhogle was there during the presentation ceremony after the IPL 2026 Final in Ahmedabad.
Harsha Bogle detects a fake video
Bhogle was announcing the names of the receivers in the match after the ceremony. He had to call out Vaibhav Sooryavanshi multiple times, as the 15-year-old has had to collect multiple awards. The rising sensation from Bihar claimed titles like the Most Valuable Player, Emerging Player of the Season, Super Striker of the Season, Orange Cap winner, and Super Sixes of the Season.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the final, Virat Kohli claimed the Player of the Match award, but it was Vaibhav Sooryavanshi who dominated the award distribution ceremony. For the Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 776 runs at an exceptional strike rate of 237.30. During the course, the left-handed opener smashed a record-breaking 72 sixes, which helped him to break multiple records in the Indian Premier League history.
Words in the video are false
Meanwhile, when most of the cricket fans were praising Vaibhav for his extraordinary batting skills, some people out there on social media platforms shared false, misleading videos. One of the false videos, which is allegedly made using Artificial Intelligence, captured Harsha Bhogle’s attention.
In the alleged video, viewers could see the young batter and Bhogle talking in an unprofessional, rude way, which is absolutely false. Because of the advanced technology, nowadays it has become very difficult to mark the true narratives and false narratives.
Harsha Bhogle and Sooryavanshi are the best two people in the world who could tell whether it is true as the words were engineered on their mouths. As soon as Bhogle saw the clip on his social media feed, he raised the topic and helped the cricket fans to keep a distance from it. He attracted the BCCI and Rajasthan Royals’ attention as well through the social media post.
Bhogle reveals the truth as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was in the video
Bhogle directly claimed that the viral video is fake and dubbed. He clarified that neither he asked such rude questions, nor did Vaibhav Sooryavanshi himself answer those in a harsh way.
“There is a fake dubbed clip of me and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi doing the rounds on social media. It depicts Vaibhav as being rude and cocky. Neither was that question asked nor was there an answer like that. It is cruel and mischievous, especially towards a young kid who has been very respectful in his few interactions,” Harsha Bhogle stated this on his ‘X’ post on June 2.
