He also asserted that Mohammed Siraj has come a long way in the last two years.

While speaking to Cricbuzz during the post-match show of India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I, Zaheer Khan said that Harshal Patel is getting better and better since the last IPL and can be used as a good cog in any bowling unit.

“Harshal Patel has played all the games and with consistency as well. He’s getting better and better since the last IPL. He can be used as a good cog in any bowling unit.

“Mohammed Siraj was very impressive today and he’s come a really long way over the last couple of years. Every time he has got the opportunity, he was ready, Zaheer Khan said.

In the previous India vs West Indies series, Mohammed Siraj grabbed 5 wickets in 3 ODIs at an average of 18.60. Harshal Patel scalped 5 wickets in 3 T20Is at an average of 21.0 against West Indies and was the top wicket-taker for India.

India defeated Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series 3-0, after clinching wins in all three games. India defeated Sri Lanka in the 1st T20I by 62 runs, 2nd T20I by 7 wickets, and 3rd T20I by 6 wickets.
