Harshit Rana says he’s ready for the Asia Cup 2025

Meanwhile, the young Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana said that he is ready to take on the challenge. The 23-year-old has been playing domestic cricket for the past month, including the Delhi Premier League 2025 (DPL 2025), and is fully prepared for the big tournament in the UAE.

Rana was quoted as saying by ANI: “It's been almost one month of playing in the DPL. I am fully prepared for the Asia Cup, having played 20-over cricket for some time now.”

The fast bowler is confident about India’s bowling strength. With Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh in the squad, he said that India’s bowling attack looks solid for the tournament.

He signed off by saying, “India has a very stable bowling unit right now. Like in the Asia Cup squad, there are players like Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh who bring experience to the side, which will help a lot.”

India will begin their campaign on September 10 against the hosts, the UAE, in Dubai. The much-awaited clash with Pakistan will be played on September 14, also in Dubai, before India faces Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
