KKR Sign Navdeep Saini but Struggle Early in IPL 2026 Season
Kolkata Knight Riders brought in Navdeep Saini as a replacement for their injured fast bowler in IPL 2026. However, the team has struggled to get going in the early part of the season.
KKR have played four matches so far, losing three, while one game ended with no result due to rain. As a result, they have just one point and are placed ninth on the points table.
Their latest loss came against Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Gardens on April 9, where the opposition chased the target in the final over. Their home game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 6 was abandoned due to heavy rain, with both teams sharing one point.
